SO CAL NATIVE KIMBERLY PHILLIPS
IS PLAYBOY’S MISS SEPTEMBER 2009
Corona, California native Kimberly Phillips, is Playboy’s Playmate of the Month in the magazine’s September 2009 issue, with additional photos available on Playboy.com.
Miss September graduated from Corona High School where she participated in student council and worked part-time at Caro’s restaurant. She earned her associate’s degree in liberal arts from Riverside Community College while simultaneously working full-time at a Montessori school.
After realizing she needed a break from the daily grind, Kimberly decided to try something new. “I was just exhausted,” explains the brunette beauty. “So one day I said to Natalie, my best bud since the fifth grade, ‘I want to try something different. I want to be something different.’” The two downed a bottle of wine, snapped some sexy photos, and submitted them to Playboy. Two days later, Kimberly received a call from the magazine.
From an early age, Kimberly had always been told she was Playboy material but did not have the self-confidence to pursue it. “Never in a million years did I believe I’d be a Playmate, that this would turn out to be my fresh start,” she exclaims.
When Miss September isn’t pursuing her new modeling career, you can find her hanging out in So Co with her girlfriends, catching the latest movie at the theater, or just relaxing by the beach.
