Get Ready to Rock Out! Atlantic City native and current L.A. scenester Jennifer Pershing, is Playboy’s Playmate of the Month for March 2009.
Miss March graduated in 1998 from Mainland Regional High School in the town of Somers Point, New Jersey where she was president of the Future Business Leaders of America. She is currently living in L.A. and continuing her modeling career.
When she isn’t dropping in at The Mansion for movie night, you can find the platinum blonde beauty hitting The Strip with her girlfriends and partying like its 1989. “I grew up loving Motley Crue, Guns N’ Roses, and Poison,” explains the sexy rocker. “Maybe I’m attracted to guys in spandex who wear makeup. It’s just my thing.” But that doesn’t mean Miss March is all electric guitars and eyeliner. During the day Jennifer manages a Clinique counter at Bloomingdales. She is also interested in getting her certificate in child day-care management. Jennifer sees being a Playmate as a platform to raise awareness of autism, which afflicts one of her younger sisters.
Miss March thinks being discovered by a Playboy scout had something to do with the movie The Secret. “The idea in the film is ‘if you want something, ask the universe for it,’” explains Jennifer. “Literally a month later I was at a Playboy test shoot.”
